The mission of the Rosemount High School girls’ golf team is to develop a team of girls who consistently perform at championship levels in Minnesota State High School League competitions. To accomplish this, we want girls on this team who are willing to:
- be chemically free,
- work hard,
- be prepared (have everything at school that you’ll need for practice/matches)
- contribute to creating a positive team culture.
The Rosemount Irish Girls Golf Team Goals:
As far as competition is concerned, we consistently play the elite teams in the state, either in our South Suburban Conference match schedule or at any of the tournaments we attend.
With respect to helping each girl improve her game significantly each spring, we focus our practices on the four cornerstones of excellent golf: full swing, short game, course strategy, and mental toughness.
Finally, we make enjoying the game of golf our priority. Golf is a great game, and we never want to lose sight of how much fun it can be. We enjoy being together. To foster team spirit and love for the game, we have taken team golf trips in the past to such places as Arizona (five times), Kansas City, San Diego, and Florida.
To make it to the top echelons of competition in the state, we need 4 to 6 girls who want to make golf their priority. Please look at the image below.
